Here’s what I need right now. I want someone to:

  • calm my fears about global financial collapse & war,

  • give me ideas for celebrating friends and family even more, and

  • tangibly make my life more comfortable.

Given my needs, why would I listen to the State of the Union? If it failed to address any of the issues I care about, it might only increase my anxiety. So, instead, I watched Meghan.

In case you missed it, With Love, Meghan recently dropped on Netflix. It’s about ease, creativity, and cultivating richness—not in dollars, but in experiences and caring for self.

Yes, it’s a cooking show. It has a bunch of food, drinks, crafting, gardening, and light-as-cotton-candy chats with friends who swing by, like Mindy Kaling. If none of that is your bag, you might not like the show.

But, hear me out.

Perhaps, you’re just a liiiittle bit curious? Maybe you like the idea of luxury, and you’re open to reimagining it as something life-giving, accessible, and deeply personal that could be good? If that sounds interesting, here are five ways that the show helped me with that, and might help you, too.
