Sex Panic and the Pandemic

You can watch my new, one-woman, sex storytelling performance in your city.

Welcome to the stage! I’ve performed nonfiction, storytelling about sexual and reproductive healths, rights, education, and justice for years. A couple weeks ago, I tipped subscribers off that this was coming. Now, it’s here!

WHAT: SEX PANIC AND THE PANDEMIC written & performed live by award-winning sexual health educator Twanna A. Hines

WHEN: Friday, July 31 @ 8:00 PM

WHERE: To get the live stream link, make a donation to Keegan. Half of all live stream ticket sales and donations go to an organization of the featured artist’s choosing.

In honor of my grandmother, I chose to support her alma mater — Tuskegee University.

Here's how it works. It's a fundraiser for Tuskegee, so you buy a ticket to the show by making a donation via the Eventbrite link above. It's pay what you can, so even $5 is fine. Once you have a ticket, you can tune into the livestream from wherever you are in the world.

Usually, my shows are in-person and super interactive — and take place in packed theater houses. So, while I’m sad that I won’t see everyone’s faces in person, I’m thrilled that this opportunity provides access to people who might not otherwise see me on stage because we don’t live in the same city.

You don’t have to come to the theater because the theater is coming to you. Grab your pay-what-you-can ticket. Support an HBCU. ❤️ Support a local theater & its artists. ❤️
